Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Some Wearable Art!!!

It has been almost 5 years since both my ovaries, fallopian tubes, omentum and 5 lymph nodes were removed due to early stage malignant tumors that were found on both my ovaries, my omentum and my colon. Today I am just fine, no disease, no chemo, no radiation and by God's Grace, no worries (God is good)!! However, every September, I am reminded of what could have been. For that reason, I wanted to take a pause for the cause and remind everyone to wear teal one day this month in honor of women such as Corretta Scott King, Gilda Radner and Angela Winbush that had to fight this insidious disease. Wear teal because Ovarian Cancer whispers and wearing teal gives it a voice.Wear teal because CA-125 testing should be standard when diagnosing Ov-Ca (mine was elevated to 198 before my surgery and is a 9 today)! Wear teal because it's a beautiful color and life is beautiful!

Ok, before I burst into tears, I am going back to regularly scheduled programming:-)

Here are some new arrivals...

Stay tuned for details of the flash sale next week.

Until next time, I will leave you with these important words....Listen to your body, it will tell you when something is wrong.

OMWord! God is definitely good! I'm so happy for you that you are cancer free. Wow. I am just amazed. And it's definitely rings true of listening to your body. I have a tendency of ignoring the signals sometimes. Need to stop.

Meanwhile, beautiful jewelry!
